B.C. Stephan
When B.C was a kid he dreamed of playing in the NBA or becoming a Force wielding Jedi.
The only thing he didn’t want to do was write. And if you mentioned the word grammar, he would disappear before you could finish your sentence. In fact, instead of using a pencil for writing, he would spin a basketball on top of it. Luckily, B.C. developed a passion for writing when he began learning new languages, often writing stories in Spanish, then translating them to English.
While learning Chinese, and teaching English in China, B.C. realized that kids are more engaged when they are reading something interesting. Wow! What a concept. In order to learn languages and write books that kids would enjoy at the same time, B.C. decided to feed two birds with one hand by writing his first chapter book in Spanish. This is his preferred method of learning languages.
B.C. loves traveling the world, and speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin. When he isn’t traveling, you can find him hanging out with his family in Southern California.
